The last lot on the block to be built, this duplex in the town of Crested Butte blended easily into its neighborhood. Appearing to be a single family home, each unit takes advantage of its site and maintains its own personality. The southern unit gathers the sun with windows accessing spacious living spaces. The northern unit affords great mountain views while taking in plenty of diffused light. Both Jim and Karen contributed to the design and construction of this home in the summer of 2001-2002.
