This remodel of a modest 1926 bungalow in Golden, CO was a labor of love for Jim and Karen. Extensive renovation of both the interior and exterior of the house allowed us to take advantage of indoor/outdoor living opportunities. While maintaining the home’s traditional character, the addition and reconfiguration of openings enhanced the flow of spaces. (remove two sentences here) Situated on a busy street on a block of commercial properties, we also converted the 1100sf garage/office into a commercial space, giving residents the option of a live/work lifestyle in the city of Golden.
