This home gently rests on a steep hillside at the base of Mt Crested Butte. The owners knew they wanted a “not so big house”. Through the restrained use of materials and the simplification of design elements, this dwelling is an example of human proportion and scale. The soapstone wood stove marks the heart center of this comfortable home. At 2300 SF, this 3 bedroom house is the perfect size for the Koval family. Dave Dibardino, the general contractor, was also instrumental in crafting the final design of this building.
