The house appears to be one level.As you round the corner to approach the covered entry, both the architecture and the view aredramatically revealed. A lower walkout level captures the same views as the living spaces above.Four large lift and slide doors in the main living space encourage easy movement between indoors and outdoors.

A clear delineation of public and private spaces is the hallmark of this design. The flow of the floor planis a response to the homeowner’s daily routine. The master suite is at the far end of the home, away from the entry, providing maximum privacy. A well-lit pool and exercise room was a key element of the design and is placed central to the home. Bedrooms, bathrooms anda living area for guests are on the lower level, which has its own access to a lower level patio.

On the exterior, cedarand metalsidingwill pair with glulam and steel structural members for a cohesive look. Throughout the interior, warm wood floors and ceilings will work together with glulam and steel beams in spaces bathed in diffused northern light.
